"YOU ARE NOT YOU"

Not long ago I recommended you a movie "The Theory of Everything", breathtaking production that breaks your heart into million peaces every time you watch it. Today I come to you with a movie a bit similar - "You are not you"

Few days ago I stumbled across very interesting story of a woman that suffered from ASL. Kate was forced to resign from her music career. Lucky for her, she had a loving husband Evan by her side. Her health kept getting worst to the point where she lost her self-reliance and had to hire someone to take care of her. Surprisingly she chose inexperienced collage student Bec, who is looking for a right path in her life. With time they develop wonderful relationship that helps both of them with dealing with their weaknesses.

"You are not you" shows an amazing story about friendship, personal battles and hope. Music created by Jeanine Tesori is a masterpiece. It is touching and perfect as a fulfilment to this production. Main roles played by Hillary Swank and Emmy Rossum create perfect Gal Pals.
There is no other movie like this. Be prepared for lots of crying. There will be many tissues involved ! I believe it is not only worth watching for women but men too. Everyone can take something important from it. Don't ever take life for granted and use every minute of it. Be sure not to waist it !

KEEP GOING FORWARD

Everything changes constantly. People, habits and priorities are progressing over the years.
One of the most common thing you can hear talking about differences between generations is understanding social medias. Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Pinterest - those are just a few from a very long list. The idea is simple - create your virtual self by adding photos, videos and statuses to your profile. But reality is not that simple. Unfortunately people like to change everything into a contest. Everyone wants to to popular even if it means that you change a bit here and there. The problem is, you stop realising when you change to much and your profile becomes a profile of someone completely different.

Instagram is a really good example. Constant fight over likes and followers. People find more and more ways to "become better". Promoting profiles is the most common. A little bit less popular is buying followers or likes. Just by sending one text you can get some fake followers ( 10 zł for 1000 followers )
I believe that understanding why is very important. I have my own theory. It's all about insecurities. If your friend posted a picture that got more likes that the one you posted you start to wander why. Maybe because your hair looks flat or your make-up is not the best but in that moment your insecurities are talking instead of you. And next time you will take a better picture, maybe you will not like it as much as the last one but it will get more likes. I believe that's how social medias change us.
Not long ago I read an article that frightened me. According to that  80% of young people between 16 and 20 years old is unhappy about their lives. As a reason are given social medias.
While scrolling through your feed you start notice that  your life is not as "good" as you thought it was. Ofcourse it's not right. Everyone tries to look their best on social medias. Perfect hair and perfect clothes are just a part of someone's life. What's not visible on those photos is what's underneath.
What I believe is really important is knowing that you are not define by numbers . You shouldn't be bothered with anyone else but what you think. It probably will sound really cheesy but do what makes you happy. Those are the best words to live by.

THE THEORY OF EVERTHING

When it comes to my taste in films, I'm not easy to satsfy. If anyone asked me, I wouldn't be able to point to my 10/10 movie. Most likely because I haven's seen one like this yet.
I was really suprised when my close friend told me to watch movie about Stephen Hawking  but what did I have to lose right ? Today I'm really glad I trusted her because this movie ended up on my "worth watching" list.
"The Theory of Everything" is a biographical drama movie directed by James Marsh that tells a story of famous physicist Stephen Hawking. Everthing begins in 1963 in Cambridge Uniwersity when Stephen (Eddie Redmayne) started his education and met the love of his life. While doing what he did best his muscles began to fail. Later on he learns that he has amyotrophic lateral sclerosis also known as ALS. Short after realising that his time is limited Stephen and his girlfriend Jane (Felicity Jones) decide to get married. Stephen also pursued his research about physics and black holes which gave him enough strangth not to give up and fight with illnes.
This story is one of the best combination of drama and romance. It shows everthing is possible even when no body believes in you. It is moving, exciting and breathtaking. Music and acting style is simply magnificent. It shreds your feelings into small peaces. What more can you possibly want from a drama movie ?
As I said there are not lots of movies I can recommend to everyone but without doubt "The Theory of Everything" is one of them. It's not important how old are you or what kind of movies do you prefer, I quarantee you will fall in love with this movie and it's more than worth it. I give it strong 8/10.
